On the basis of the application of fundamental theoretical and methodological principles of European structural lexical semantics -a trend within which the notion of field is developed -, we have approached an area of Spanish currently spoken in Venezuela. Such area is constituted by the equine chromatic adjectives that conform a lexical paradigm organized through semantic networks that exist among its lexemes. Also, through the manifestation and structural integration of semes, as well as the lexico-semantic marco-structure, we have defined each lexeme in terms of its components by considering its paradigm coordenates and analyzing its spatial features (central or peripheric) and its functionality (its distinctive nature) in the articulatory viewpoints that intervene in the organization of the plane of content and in the configuration of the semic systems and sememic sense effects that these systems gather and manifest.
