Abstract
GARCIA NEGRONI, María Marta and HALL, Beatriz. ISSN 0798-9709.
Within the framework of argumentative polyphony and discourse studies, in this paper we analyze qualitatively a corpus of texts written by university students. Our goal is not to point out mistakes, but rather to bring to light how the subject relates him/herself to academic discourse. Several recurring procedures are examined (fragmentary tendencies and enunciative distortions); some causes for these phenomena are analyzed and finally pedagogical practices, based on process rather than content, are proposed in order to facilitate the development of reading and writing in academic contexts.
Keywords : academic literacy; fragmentary tendencies; enunciative distorsions.
