The purpose was present a systematic taxonomy of the different definitions of Knowledge Management in the literature by various authors. Its of great relevance for the study of this management approach in the Venezuelan Organizations and for the conformation of the theory-reticular weaving of the knowledge management from the transcomplexity perspective. The method consisted of a bibliographic review of the different conceptual definitions of the term knowledge management, which allowed to conclude that the approach is supported by a core process that is crosscutting to others processes developed by the management in a self-eco-organized community. This process is enabled by a technology ecosystem clearly collaborative in of which the internalized knowledge by the members of a collective are shares; which evidence the potential of the self-eco-organize community, toward the development and innovation of products-services for to guarantee the meet of the present and future needs.
