The objective was to design an organized recreation program aimed at students of the Pedagogical Institute of Caracas (IPC) to contribute to the constructive use of leisure time. Descriptive research type; feasible project whose purpose was to understand the importance that students give their free time and preferences regarding these recreational activities. Among the results found that students give value and importance to recreation and consider contributing in a meaningful way in their comprehensive training, there is also a willingness to participate in the program organized recreation and preference focused on recreational activities area outdoors and being secondly tourism socio-cultural area and sport.
