The aim of this research is to identify flooding by annual flooding simulation in a segment of the lower basin of the river Pescadillo, located within a homogeneous matrix farm in the province of Manabi in Ecuador. It was used for the hydraulic simulation program HEC-RAS and raise the channel geometry HEC-GeoRAS. The geometric data were extracted from a TIN of a digital elevation model (DEM / SRTM) 50 meter resolution. In the hydraulic simulation 28 cross sections spaced at 800 meters, a simulated flow rate of 61.4 m3 / sec, and a slope below 0.0025 waters they were drawn. It turned out that the possible area to be affected covers 18.72 km2. Simulated annual flooding of the river, provide information on the location of the overflow areas and potential agricultural land at risk.
