Abstract

HERRERA, Yolimar. Teachers, their words and the pedagogical Eros that indwells them. Investigación y Postgrado [online]. 2013, vol.28, n.2, pp.103-124. ISSN 1316-0087.

The general purpose of this publication is to develop an approach of the subjective character of teachers; based on their words, that were used to find in their stories expressions of dynamic esthetics that reveal the pedagogical Eros that indwells them. This publication has two objectives: to reflect on teaching and pedagogy, from the perspective of the category relations between subjectivity and esthetics; and to describe and interpret the meaning of the teachers words, expressed through the manifestation of feelings, emotions, and fondness lived and felt during their pedagogical career, as a possible way for the development of a pedagogical Eros in them. The methodological approach was a field ethnographic research, with the design of a qualitative case study. The resulting data from this research was: subjectivity leads to the manifestation of fondness, feelings, and emotions. The pedagogical Eros develops subjectivity factors in pedagogical areas. From the words of teachers, the pedagogical element is understood as a loving act, in which the differences create areas for the sharing of knowledge.

Keywords : subjectivity; teaching; pedagogy; pedagogical Eros.
