Resumen

VELASQUEZ, Sergio; PINTO, Lacides  y  ROSALES, Luis. Control of first order system with evaluation based on events. uct [online]. 2017, vol.21, n.82, pp.036-043. ISSN 1316-4821.

The PID control theory in its discrete aspect, is based on a periodic administration of the samples, is considered a robust area within the paradigm of the automatic control. However, event planning inevitably results in asynchronous sampling mostly of additional problems that need to be characterized and studied. In this scenario, aspects such as the tuning of controllers and the conditions for global stability or the absence of limit cycles are still issues that are still far from being solved. This paper presents a new sampling and control scheme based on events for first order systems that have delays. The proposed scheme is based on the Smith Predictor for delay compensation, and on the SSOD (Symmetric Send On-Delta) sampling algorithm for generating the events. Based on this scheme, stability analysis is developed with an intuitive and efficient interpretation.
