BIMANIS, Judith y MEDINA, Tadeo. Quality of life of the hemophiliac patient from the point of view of Edgar Morin in complex thought. Salus [online]. 2015, vol.19, suppl., pp.11-15. ISSN 1316-7138.
Every illness is a factor threatening, negative impact on the welfare and quality of life, more so when the disease is chronic. In this sense Hemophilia is no stranger to this fact; the patient and his family they face multiple demands of adjustment on the quality of life. In this context and taking into account the three components that can affect the condition of life of hemophilia Rittermann established by, and under the gaze of complex thought of Edgar Morin, the concept quality of life in the hemophiliac patient is displayed and his closest family. The perception of every individual with respect to life, is usually supported by their socio-cultural context in which value systems is established and life expectancy are created, according to his vision of the future based on the present. It is concluded that at present it is necessary to transcend from a reductionist conception of man, in which it is assumed as an individual with a mechanical body and a disembodied mind, towards an inclusive perspective, able to rise to the complexity of the life and multidimensionality of human experience, which of course implies a huge challenge, which is why the study of quality of life from the perspective of complex thinking is productive and inclusive and offers another way to address the phenomenon under study.
