This article addresses the process of regulating subcontracting in Brazil in a dialogue with the realities of Argentina and Uruguay. Focusing on the Brazilian process and its dynamics, the text discusses the action of social actors linked to the resistance against lwa that expand the possibilities of subcontracting beyond the limitations set by the current regulation that limits that form of labor contract in the main activities of the executor of a service. It also discusses the legislative proposal elaborated by the trade union centers within the framework of the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
