Se trabajó metodológicamente desde una perspectiva descriptiva documental mediante la revisión sistemática de 15 trabajos científicos. Se destaca la estrecha relación entre la contaminación urbano-ambiental y el espacio público. Tanto la contaminación del aire como la contaminación acústica pueden afectar negativamente la calidad y el disfrute de los espacios públicos en áreas urbanas. Sin embargo, también se ha demostrado que la incorporación de vegetación en estos espacios puede ayudar a mitigar los impactos negativos de la contaminación, mejorando así la calidad del aire y creando entornos más saludables para los residentes urbanos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The objective of this study is to analyze urban environmental pollution and public space in the center of Piura - Peru. We worked methodologically from a descriptive documentary perspective through a systematic review of 15 scientific papers. The close relationship between urban-environmental pollution and public space is highlighted. Both air pollution and noise pollution can negatively affect the quality and enjoyment of public spaces in urban areas. However, it has also been shown that incorporating vegetation into these spaces can help mitigate the negative impacts of pollution, thereby improving air quality and creating healthier environments for urban residents.]]></p></abstract>
