En este trabajo se comparó la epidermis foliar en condiciones de orquideario, multiplicación in vitro y aclimatización. Se cultivaron plantas adultas en orquideario y líneas in vitro en medio Murashige-Skoog. Las vitroplantas enraizadas fueron aclimatizadas en un propagador de  neblina durante una semana, cámara húmeda por cuatro semanas y orquideario durante tres semanas. Las muestras se procesaron mediante técnicas de microtecnia clásica. Las prácticas de cultivo in vitro indujeron el desarrollo de una epidermis con las siguientes alteraciones de la anatomía normal: mayor tamaño de las células típicas, menor espesor de las paredes anticlinales, menor tamaño de los estomas, además de la formación de estomas y tricomas en la superficie adaxial. En las hojas provenientes de la aclimatización hubo una tendencia a revertirse las alteraciones observadas in vitro, con el incremento de tamaño de los estomas y el engrosamiento de las paredes anticlinales de las células típicas, lo cual sugiere que para lograr su adaptación al orquideario, las hojas sufren cambios en sus células típicas conducentes al incremento de su resistencia mecánica y rigidez. Sin embargo, la permanencia de tricomas glandulares y estomas en la superficie adaxial sugieren que la adaptación de las hojas a las condiciones ex vitro no se completó durante las ocho semanas de aclimatización.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The orchid C. jenmanii is an important endemic ornamental plant in Venezuela. In this research, leaf epidermal structure development under three environments (orchid house, in vitro multiplication phase and acclimatization) was compared.  Adult plants were cultivated in orchid house, and organogenic lines propagated in vitro using Murashige-Skoog medium. Rooted micropropagated plants were acclimatized in a mist propagator for one week, humid chamber for four weeks, and orchid house during three weeks. The samples were processed by means of classical microtechnique procedures. The leaf epiderm in vitro development was abnormal, with increased dimensions of typical epidermic cells, reduction in anticlinal wall thickness, reduction of stomata size, and neo-formation of stomata and epidermic hairs in the adaxial surface. In contrast, leaves developed during acclimatization showed a reversion of abnormalities observed in vitro, with an increase of stomata size and anticlinal walls thickness. However, the permanence of adaxial leaf hairs and stomata suggest an incomplete adaptation of leaves to the external environment during the eight-week acclimatization.]]></p></abstract>

Independientemente del métodoempleado, los ejemplares obtenidos deben ser aclimatizados. En esta etapa ocurren pérdidas</font> </span> <font face="Verdana" size="2"> <span lang="ES-VE" style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Times New Roman; mso-ansi-language: ES-VE; mso-fareast-language: ES; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">considerables que se deben, principalmente, a fallas en la adaptación al ambiente <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">ex vitro</i> (Masooma et al., 1998; Majada et al., 2000). La superación parcial de tales fallas requiere de medidas que pueden incrementar los costos de producción, además de dificultar las labores de cultivo. El conocimiento acerca de la manera en que el ambiente de desarrollo <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">in vitro</i> y<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </span>aclimatización afectan la anatomía de las </span> <span lang="ES-VE" style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ansi-language: ES-VE">vitroplantas es necesario para diseñar prácticas de manejo más eficaces. Esto ha sido demostrado en los estudios realizados por</span></font> <span lang="ES-VE" style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ansi-language: ES-VE"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Donnelly et al. (1985) en <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Rubus idaeus</i>, Dami y Hughes (1995) en vid, Pospisilová et al. (1998) en tabaco, Zobayed et al. (1999) en papa, Majada et al. (2000; 2002) en clavel, Seon et al. (2000) en <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Rehmannia glutinosa</i> y Anita et al. (2000) en <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Dendrobium</i>. Estos autores describieron los efectos del ambiente sobre la anatomía de vitroplantas y señalaron que son determinantes para la adaptación en las condiciones <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">ex vitro</i>.</font> </span>     <p style="line-height: 100%; mso-pagination: none" align="justify"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span lang="ES-VE">La orquídea, </span><i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Cattleya</i><i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"><span lang="ES-VE" style="font-size:11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt;mso-ansi-language:ES-VE"> jenmanii<b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"> </b></span></i><span lang="ES-VE" style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ansi-language: ES-VE">Rolfe, una especie endémica de interés hortícola en Venezuela (Foldats, 1970), presenta dificultades de adaptación que producen altas tasas de fallo durante la fase de aclimatización. Por tanto, el propósito del presente trabajo fue describir y comparar la anatomía de la epidermis foliar de esta planta<b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"><i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"> </i></b>en orquideario, multiplicación <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">in vitro</i> y aclimatización a fin de contribuir al conocimiento de las posibles causas anatómicas que influyen en la aclimatización de la especie.</span></font></span></p>     <p align="justify" style="line-height: 100%; mso-pagination: none; page-break-after: auto"><span lang="ES-VE" style="mso-ansi-language:ES-VE"><b><font face="Verdana" size="2">MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS</font></b></span></p>     <p align="justify" style="line-height: 100%; mso-pagination: none; page-break-after: auto"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">Se utilizaron 12 plantas adultas cultivadas en el <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>orquideario <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>del <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>Posgrado <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>de Horticultura <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>de la Universidad Centroccidental “Lisandro Alvarado”, en Tarabana, estado Lara, Venezuela, bajo una luminosidad máxima de 180 a 200 </span><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Symbol; mso-ascii-font-family: Times New Roman; mso-hansi-font-family: Times New Roman">m</span><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt">mol·s<sup>-</sup></span><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt"><sup>1</sup></span><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt">·m<sup>-</sup></span><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt"><sup>2</sup></span><span style="font-size: 11.0pt;mso-bidi-font-size:12.0pt">. </span><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">Durante la micropropagación se utilizaron dos líneas pertenecientes a la Unidad de Biotecnología de la misma universidad.</span></font></p>     <p style="line-height: 100%; mso-pagination: none; tab-stops: list 0cm" align="justify"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt"><font size="2" face="Verdana">Se empleó la modificación del medio de Murashige-Skoog (1972) utilizada para el cultivo de <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Cattleya</i> por Torres y Mogollón (1997) con 2 mg·L<sup>-1</sup> de Bencil Adenina (BA). La luminosidad en el cuarto de crecimiento fue de 37,8 <span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Symbol; mso-ascii-font-family: Times New Roman; mso-hansi-font-family: Times New Roman">m</span>mol·s<sup>-1</sup>·m<sup>-2</sup>, el fotoperíodo de 16 h y la temperatura de 25 <span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol; font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: Symbol; mso-ascii-font-family: Times New Roman; mso-hansi-font-family: Times New Roman">±</span> 2 ºC. Se usaron recipientes de cristal con tapa translúcida precintada con<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </span>Paraplast. Al final del período de propagación <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">in vitro</i> se tomaron dos muestras de 24 individuos diferentes y el resto de las vitroplantas cultivadas se transfirieron a la fase de aclimatización.</font></span></p>     <p align="justify" style="line-height: 100%"> <span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Times New Roman; mso-ansi-language: ES; mso-fareast-language: ES; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> Las vitroplantas enraizadas fueron tratadas con una solución de 3 g·L<sup>-1</sup> de Ridomil y plantadas en maceteros de 8 cm de diámetro en fibra molida de helecho arborescente y colocadas en <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>propagador de <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>neblina, <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>con <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>una <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>frecuencia de <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>aspersión <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>de 5 minutos cada 24 horas, durante una semana.  </font> </span>      <p style="line-height: 100%; mso-pagination: none; tab-stops: list 0cm" align="justify"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">Luego fueron transferidas a una cámara húmeda con una luminosidad de 40 a 60 </span><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ascii-font-family: Times New Roman; mso-hansi-font-family: Times New Roman">m</span><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">mol·s<sup>-1</sup>·m<sup>-2</sup> durante 4 semanas y al orquideario durante 3 semanas, al cabo de las cuales se realizó la toma de muestras en 24 plantas.</span></font></p>     ]]></body>
<body><![CDATA[<p style="line-height: 100%; mso-pagination: none; tab-stops: list 0cm" align="justify"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt"><font face="Verdana" size="2">Para el estudio anatómico comparado se emplearon 48 muestras de cada condición de cultivo, que consistieron en secciones extraídas del tercio medio de<span style="color:blue"> </span>hojas adultas del simpodio más reciente. Estas secciones fueron posteriormente subdivididas y fijadas en FAA (Roth, 1964).</font></span></p>     <p style="line-height: 100%; mso-pagination: none; tab-stops: list 0cm" align="justify"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-font-kerning: 12.0pt">L</span><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">as extracciones de epidermis se realizaron por hidrólisis en caliente con una mezcla 1:1 de ácido nítrico y ácido crómico al 10% en agua durante 3 a 5 minutos (Roth, 1964) para las plantas provenientes del orquideario, y con hipoclorito de calcio comercial al 70 % durante 5 a 7 minutos para las provenientes de multiplicación <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">in vitro</i> y aclimatización. Se tiñeron con safranina y se montaron en Permount las provenientes del orquideario o glicerol al 50%, las de las restantes condiciones de cultivo.</span></font></p>     <p style="line-height: 100%; mso-pagination: none; mso-outline-level: body-text" align="justify"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">Las observaciones se realizaron en el </span><span style="letter-spacing: -.2pt">Laboratorio de Microscopía del Instituto de Biología</span><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt"> Molecular y Celular de las Plantas de la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, España. Se </span><span style="letter-spacing: -.2pt">utilizó un microscopio óptico Nikon Eclipse E600.</span></font></p>     <p style="line-height: 100%; mso-pagination: none; mso-outline-level: body-text" align="justify"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt"><font face="Verdana" size="2">Las variables de longitud, anchura y densidad de células típicas epidérmicas, grosor de paredes anticlinales, longitud y anchura de estomas, anchura de células oclusivas, densidad estomática e índice estomático, se midieron en fotomicrografías tomadas con una cámara digital de la casa Soft Imaging System y el procesamiento de imágenes con el programa AnalySIS 3.1.</font></span></p>     <p style="line-height: 100%; mso-pagination: none; mso-outline-level: body-text" align="justify"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt"><font face="Verdana" size="2">Se tomaron datos de dos a diez campos en 10 hojas de cada ambiente y se analizaron mediante el programa Statgrafics Plus 5.1. Para ello se realizaron transformaciones de datos, análisis de varianza y prueba de medias de Duncan para aquellos datos que se ajustaban a la distribución normal, mientras que los datos que no se ajustaban a dicha distribución se analizaron mediante la prueba de Kruscal-Wallis.</font></span></p>     <p align="justify" style="mso-pagination: none; page-break-after: auto; line-height: 100%"><span lang="ES-VE" style="mso-ansi-language:ES-VE"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><b>RESULTADOS</b></font></span></p>     <p style="mso-pagination: none; line-height: 100%" align="justify"><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt"><font face="Verdana" size="2">Descripción anatómica de<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </span>la epidermis adaxial</font></span></b></p>     <p style="line-height: 100%" align="justify"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Times New Roman; mso-ansi-language: ES; mso-fareast-language: ES; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA"><font face="Verdana" size="2">En las láminas foliares de las plantas <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">in vitro</i> y aclimatizadas se observó que la epidermis adaxial </font> </span>  <font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">presentó tricomas glandulares, formados por tres células y que dejaban una cicatriz al caer. En las plantas adultas cultivadas en orquideario se observó una epidermis glabra.</span></font>     <p style="line-height: 100%; mso-pagination: none; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt" align="justify"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">Las células típicas epidérmicas resultaron ser poligonales alargadas, predominantemente hexagonales, aunque también pentagonales, heptagonales y octagonales en las plantas <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">in vitro</i>, aclimatizadas y adultas. Las paredes anticlinales <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>de estas células se observaron ligeramente engrosadas y para el caso de las hojas de plantas de orquideario presentaban punteaduras primarias, visibles al microscopio óptico.</span></font></p>     <p style="line-height: 100%; mso-pagination: none" align="justify"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">Los estomas, que se presentaron aislados en áreas de la lámina cercanas al margen, resultaron del tipo tetracítico en hojas anfiestomáticas provenientes de plantas <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">in vitro</i> y aclimatizadas, mientras que las hojas de plantas de orquideario resultaron ser hipoestomáticas (<a href="#fig1">Figura 1</a>).</span></font></p>     ]]></body>

Al comparar <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>las células epidérmicas típicas del tercio medio de la hoja de plantas cultivadas <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">in vitro</i> con las desarrolladas en aclimatización y orquideario se encontró que las primeras presentaron una anchura similar a las de aclimatización y mayor que las de orquideario en la superficie abaxial En la cara adaxial la menor longitud de las células típicas </span><span style="letter-spacing: -.2pt">también correspondió a las plantas del orquideario.</span></font></p>     <p align="justify" style="line-height: 100%"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Times New Roman; mso-ansi-language: ES; mso-fareast-language: ES; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">Por su parte, durante el cultivo <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">in vitro</i>,<b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"> </i></b>las paredes anticlinales de las células típicas fueron más delgadas y su espesor se incrementó en las condiciones expuestas al ambiente externo hasta alcanzar su máximo valor en el orquideario. De allí que las células típicas desarrolladas en el orquideario sean más pequeñas, pero con una densidad menor a causa de la superficie ocupada por sus paredes anticlinales engrosadas.</span></font></p>     <p style="mso-pagination: none; line-height: 100%" align="justify"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">Al respecto, Kevers y Gaspar (1986) y Majada et al. (2000; 2002) indicaron que la epidermis foliar desarrollada durante la multiplicación <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">in vitro</i> de clavel presentó anormalidades anatómicas severas, entre las que se encuentra la reducción del grosor de la pared celular. Estos autores lo interpretaron como una hipolignificación y formación imperfecta de la pared secundaria.</span></font></p>     <p style="mso-pagination: none; line-height: 100%" align="justify"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="letter-spacing: -.2pt">Respecto a las células epidérmicas especializadas, en la superficie adaxial de las hojas desarrolladas <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">in vitro</i> se presentaron apéndices epidérmicos y estomas que fueron menos frecuentes en la hojas provenientes de</span><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt"> aclimatización y estuvieron ausentes en las hojas de orquideario.</span></font></p>     <p align="justify" style="line-height: 100%"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Times New Roman; mso-ansi-language: ES; mso-fareast-language: ES; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">En la superficie abaxial, los estomas de las hojas de cultivo <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">in vitro</i> fueron más pequeños y </span></font><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Times New Roman; mso-ansi-language: ES; mso-fareast-language: ES; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">sus dimensiones se incrementaron en la medida que ocurrió la adaptación al ambiente externo, hasta alcanzar su máximo valor en orquideario. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>En cambio el índice estomático no sufrió alteraciones en las condiciones de cultivo estudiadas (<a href="#cua3">Cuadro 3</a>). De tal manera que las hojas de cultivo <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">in vitro</i> y aclimatización pueden ser clasificadas como anfiestomáticas, con </span><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">predominio de la superficie abaxial, mientras que las hojas de orquideario pueden ser clasificadas como hipoestomáticas.</span></font>     <p style="mso-pagination: none; line-height: 100%" align="justify"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">En la condición <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">in vitro</i>, la magnitud de la transpiración es pequeña debido a la restricción de flujo gaseoso en los recipientes de cultivo y la condición semiheterótrofa de los cultivos, mientras que bajo condiciones de orquideario la planta requiere de una mayor tasa de intercambio gaseoso <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>con <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>el <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>ambiente, <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>lo <span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp;</span>que podría resultar en un aparato estomático de mayores dimensiones.</span></font></p>     ]]></body>
<body><![CDATA[<p style="mso-pagination: none; line-height: 100%" align="justify"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">Estos resultados coinciden con lo señalado por Anita et al. (2000), quienes encontraron una reducción significativa de las dimensiones estomáticas de <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Dendrobium</i> durante la micropropagación <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">in vitro</i> y la posterior recuperación de las mismas durante la aclimatización. Por otra parte, los estomas de tipo tetracítico y la ausencia de tricomas en las hojas adultas han sido reportados en otras especies de orquidáceas pertenecientes a la tribu <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Vanilleae</i> (Stern y Judd, 2000).</span></font></p>     <p style="mso-pagination: none; line-height: 100%" align="justify"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">La variación en las dimensiones de las células típicas epidérmicas y los estomas desarrollados durante la aclimatización podría ser interpretada como señal de un mayor control del balance </span><span style="letter-spacing: -.1pt">hídrico, pero tales indicadores del restablecimiento</span><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt"> de la anatomía normal de la epidermis contrastaron con las características intermedias entre la epidermis desarrollada <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">in vitro<b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"> </b></i>y la desarrollada en el orquideario, como la presencia de tricomas glandulares y estomas aislados en la superficie adaxial (Pospisilová et al<i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">.</i>, 1999; Couceiro et al<i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">.</i>, 2006). Esto podría indicar que el tiempo transcurrido durante la aclimatización en este experimento no fue suficiente para<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </span>igualar la anatomía foliar de las vitroplantas a la de las plantas del orquideario.</span></font></p>     <p style="mso-pagination: none; line-height: 100%" align="justify"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">La presencia de estomas en la superficie adaxial podría ser el resultado de la ausencia de estímulos ambientales de los que depende el desarrollo de la epidermis foliar.</span></font></p>     <p style="line-height: 100%" align="justify"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Times New Roman; mso-ansi-language: ES; mso-fareast-language: ES; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">La permanencia en hojas aclimatizadas de algunas características de las hojas desarrolladas <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">in vitro</i>, como los tricomas glandulares y los estomas en la superficie adaxial llevan a pensar que la adaptación de las vitroplantas a las condiciones de crecimiento <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">ex vitro</i> es un proceso más lento de lo inicialmente </span><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Times New Roman; mso-ansi-language: ES; mso-fareast-language: ES; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">estimado.</span></font>     <p align="justify" style="mso-pagination: none; page-break-after: auto; line-height: 100%"><span style="mso-ansi-language:ES"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><b>CONCLUSIONES</b></font></span></p>     <p style="mso-pagination: none; line-height: 100%" align="justify"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">Durante la propagación <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">in vitro</i> hubo un incremento del tamaño de las células típicas, reducción del espesor de las paredes anticlinales, reducción del tamaño de los estomas en la superficie abaxial y la formación de estomas y tricomas en la superficie adaxial, en comparación con las hojas de las plantas del orquideario.</span></font></p>     <p style="mso-pagination: none; line-height: 100%" align="justify"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">Durante la aclimatización se observó una tendencia a revertir las alteraciones observadas en la multiplicación <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">in vitro</i>, con el incremento de las dimensiones de los estomas y el engrosamiento de las paredes anticlinales.</span></font></p>     <p style="mso-pagination: none; line-height: 100%" align="justify"><font face="Verdana" size="2"><span style="mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">Luego de una aclimatización de ocho semanas las hojas formadas por las vitroplantas presentaron una anatomía de la epidermis foliar que aún no presentó todas las características de las plantas del orquideario.</span></font></p>     <p align="justify" style="mso-pagination: none; line-height: 100%"><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"><font face="Verdana" size="2">AGRADECIMIENTO</font></b></p>     <p style="mso-pagination: none; line-height: 100%" align="justify"><font face="Verdana" size="2">A Dra.
