Areté, founded in January 2015 by Tulio Ramírez and Audy Salcedo, in the Doctorate in Education at the Central University of Venezuela, Caracas, Venezuela. Areté has been published continuously since June 2015 (Vol I, No. 1) to the present. It is a peer-reviewed (double-blind) open access scientific publication, published semi-annually. Its primary objective is the dissemination and exchange of scientific and humanistic research in the field of education (all levels and modalities). Areté only publishes original research articles that have not been simultaneously submitted for evaluation and publication in other journals. It may also publish scientific essays, which will be received strictly by request or commission of the Editorial Board and will also be peer-reviewed. Areté is plural in terms of various theoretical and methodological perspectives as long as the works express rigorous results and meet the criteria of importance, relevance, and pertinence. The abbreviated title is Areté, which should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references, and bibliographic legends. Areté allows the total or partial reproduction of its content, provided that the source is explicitly cited. |
