GENERALITIES

Articles must be original and unpublished; in addition to not being submitted simultaneously in other journals.

Noesis, Revista Electrónica de Investigación establishes the policy of double-blind academic peer review; where the evaluators do not know the identity of the authors of the articles, and the authors do not know the identity of the evaluators.

The work of the evaluators is strictly confidential. The journal is not responsible for the actions of the evaluators, who are completely autonomous.

Once the article is received for arbitration, the Editorial Committee selects two external reviewers from the journal and the Foundation who anonymously evaluate the quality of the document according to the standards of the journal.

Articles other than Spanish and English will be received.

The articles submitted to the journal must have a maximum of four authors, including the main one. The editorial committee will consider the exception to this rule, based on the criteria of originality, relevance, contribution and extension of the investigative process developed in the article.

Of the editorial process

The collaborators will upload the article to the OJS of the Journal (download in Journal Formats). When registering the article in the platform, you must specify everything requested in the boxes and upload the article.

Together with the article, the Declaration of Responsibility and Originality must be received.

In case of opinion 2, the author must upload the new version with the pertinent corrections and the arbitration process begins. Articles not approved by the Editorial Committee may not be resubmitted for arbitration.

To guarantee the originality and respect of the copyright of other researchers, the articles that aspire to be published in the journal Ingenium et Potentia will be submitted to review by means of an anti-plagiarism program, of which the Koinonía foundation has the respective license acquired. From the analysis carried out of the report issued the article:

All of the above is framed from the policy of ethics and good publication practices.

  1. Originality / Innovation of the research.

The evaluators will have a period of 30 continuous days, from the reception of the article, to send to the Director and / or Editor, the evaluative report of the same. The Director and / or Editor will send said report to the author within a maximum period of 5 continuous days. The projective term between the reception of the article and its publication is 8 weeks.

All articles are submitted to an editorial evaluation process, even when they have been reviewed by experts; and if necessary, the authors will be sent the appropriate recommendations to improve the quality of the articles to be published.

In the event that there are discrepancies between both reviewers, a third reviewer is used, whose decision, together with the Editorial Committee, will determine whether the article is published or rejected.

If the work is accepted or rejected definitively, the author will receive official communication in this regard.

The results of the process are unappealable and compliance with the Policy of Ethics and Good Publication Practices must be ensured to avoid conflicts of interest.

In the event that any ethical misconduct is detected in the publication at the beginning, during the editorial process or after publication, the journal Ingenium et Potentia will take the necessary corrective measures based on the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) (www.publicationethics.org), the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) (http://www.icmje.org/) and Council of Science Editors (CSE) (https://www.councilscienceeditors.org/), which may include:

  • the rejection or retraction of the article,
  • the prohibition of publication of future articles to all authors in the journal,
  • the notification to other journals, as well as,
  • the communication to the respective authorities (institution of origin, institution that financed the study, professional associations and ethics committees).

The most frequent forms of unethical principles in publication are:

  • Plagiarism: All publication proposals will be submitted to review by a text similarity detection program. Proposals that contain a similarity greater than 10% will not be accepted.
  • Inadequate authorship: The participation in the authorship and the order of appearance in the article is the responsibility of the authors, the journal has no interference in these aspects. The authors should not make changes in the number and order of the authors once the editorial process has begun.
  • Redundant publication (duplicate publication and fragmented publication): The journal does not accept duplicate publication, in case of incurring in this fault and demonstrating its occurrence, the authors are subject to the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

To ensure compliance with ethical principles, authors/researchers are recommended to:

  • Identify the original sources of the elements used in the elaboration of the articles. Identifying the author or authors when considering a text or part of it, whose author is considered in the body of the work.
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of third parties, avoiding fraudulent practices in research and publication, product of the manipulation of results and conclusions.
  • In case of discovering significant errors or inaccuracies in their articles, they must immediately communicate to the editors of the journal and facilitate all the necessary investigation to make the corresponding corrections, which will be made in the electronic journal in the shortest possible time.

What is not contemplated in these editorial norms will be submitted by the Editorial Committee of the journal Noesis.
