The present investigation pretends to approximate to the multicultural question at school from the point of view of teachers and students in the context of development of proper and specific content which is the motricity sistematically organized. So that, we are going to make evident how is lived the multiculturality from the particular perspective of the Physical Education treating to appreciate the similarities and differences produced in relation to the general situations where it has been treated. With this aim in view, the presented investigation tries to discover the disposition related to the interculturality at school and specially in and from the Physical Education. In this way it´s pretended to determine which are the behaviours of multicultural teachers and students of both sexes at school, but specifically in the Physical Education area, so it has to deal with the confirmation if they are fully adapted to the referred context or they acquire a proper partial and specific dimension in the field of motricity. At this respect we use as data collection instrument a depth interview to three students of Primary School and three students of Secondary School, all inmigrants and three teachers of Primary and three of Secondary who live and confront respectively the multicultural fact in their classes La dimensión metadidáctica en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje de la matemática http://ve.scielo.org/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S1011-22512007000200003&lng=pt&nrm=iso&tlng=pt La clase de matemáticas constituye una micro-sociedad donde tienen lugar la construcción y difusión del conocimiento matemático a través de las interacciones sociales entre los estudiantes y el profesor.
Mathematics classroom is considered as a micro-society where the building and diffusion of mathematical knowledge takes place through the social interactions between the teacher and the students. Therefore, mathematics learning is conditioned by different mathematical and didactical meta-knowledge. In this paper we first summarize the theoretical notions used to study the norms that rule the social construction of mathematical knowledge, in particular socio-mathematical norms and didactic contract. We then propose a global approach to study the meta-didactical dimension of mathematics teaching and learning processes, by using some notions of the onto-semiotic approach to mathematical knowledge and instruction La problemática fractal: un punto de vista cognitivo con interés didáctico http://ve.scielo.org/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S1011-22512007000200004&lng=pt&nrm=iso&tlng=pt En este artículo se quiere profundizar en la problemática del “objeto fractal”, desde un punto de vista cognitivo y con un interés didáctico.
In this article we will deepen in the problematic of the "fractal object", from a cognitive point of view and with a didactic interest. In particular, it is interesting to study what properties of the fractal are perceivable by the university students and how "they define it" having only one experience of visualization. The study includes 77 students who have previous knowledge of differential and integral calculus. The methodology is qualitative and systematic networks are used as tool for analysis of the collected qualitative data. Most of the students perceive the fractal in his characteristics in a partial way and "they define it" as a mathematical set that fulfills certain properties. The previous knowledge of differential and integral calculus has not had a significant and/or determining incidence in the answers of the students Educative design for the formation of facilitadores in use sustainable of the resource water http://ve.scielo.org/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S1011-22512007000200005&lng=pt&nrm=iso&tlng=pt El diseño educativo se elabora en el marco del Programa de Apoyo a la Modernización y Rehabilitación del Sector Agua Potable y Saneamiento promovido por la Hidrológica Venezolana (HIDROVEN).
A recent trend in higher education is to create and provide online access to course materials. Although some Venezuelan universities have either invested in platforms or adopted a teacher-driven approach, most higher education institutions in the country remain traditional in their teaching. The process of introducing online resources is thought to be far too expensive, complex, and risky. One way to encourage transition would be to more deeply understand the multiple factors influencing successful implementation. This paper considers some of the issues raised by students with regard to online learning environments, and in particular the issue of online learning enjoyment. The analysis of the findings suggests that, in general, students would rather be moderately exposed to certain types of online learning experiences than involved in a completely online course. The content of this paper may prove interesting and useful; strictly speaking, however, since this study was undertaken under the classroom research methodology and action research approach, conclusions are limited to the students in question Neologisms in scientific texts produced by teachers from the andean venezuelan region http://ve.scielo.org/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S1011-22512007000200007&lng=pt&nrm=iso&tlng=pt Esta investigación se trazó como objetivo primordial analizar los procedimientos morfológicos y sintácticos de las últimas adquisiciones o neologismos, que en materia de productividad lexical, se han incorporado al discurso académico escrito en revistas arbitradas por docentes procedentes de universidades de la región andina venezolana.
This research paper has as its main objective to analyze the sociolinguistic conditions involved in the incorporation and use of neologisms by professors from the Venezuelan Andean region, in the academic discourse. The theoretical foundation supporting such analysis is based on Caravedo (1992), González (2001 y 2000), Villamizar (1998), Chela Flores (1998), Arrieta et al (2007) and Batista and Arrieta (2005) among others, who focus on aspects related to: the influence of sociolinguistic conditions, dialectal variations in general and those dealing with the Andean variety in particular, as well as the criteria applied in lexical productivity. This theoretical background permitted to explain the phonetologic, morphologic and syntactic procedures applied in the production of the 60 neologisms which represent the corpus, extracted from articles published in scientific journals written by university professors from the Venezuelan Andean region. Among the main conclusions derived from the analysis of the results attained, it is worth to mention the use of affixation with affective values of gradation and quantity, without considering, in the majority of cases, the combinatory rules of the Spanish language.
This research investigates the factorial validity of the Reading Attitude Scale for university students, it also tries to identify differences related to gender and type of course. The number of 280, students attending administration, psychology and radiology courses at 3 universities of Minas Gerais and São Paulo, participated of the collectively application of the scale. The factorial exploratory analysis indicated the existence of one structure with two factors in the scale, they are, positive and negative attitudes towards reading. The values of alpha of Cronbach of the role scale and the two subscales, appointed that the instrument has acceptable traces of internal consistency.
In this study we made an arguments review that support the socio-affective strategies use in second language acquisition, in order to extract from them the applicable characteristics in foreign language learning. Then, with that information we recommended which of those strategies could be put in practice in a foreign language learning class. This is not a conclusive study. It lets some light in the possibility to study this kind of strategies in a actual class’s situation The Educative Bond: Bet and Paradoxes.
The education entails in essence a constitutive “impossible” which emerges exemplarily in the paradoxical position of the educator, who is called simultaneously to maintain a function of transmission (“conservative”) of the cultural legacies and that of welcome of the innovator and the particular of the subject. In this structural paradox it is located what there is of symptomatic (the one “that nonmarch”) in the educative act, and that can be summed up in the two extreme deviations of the “manufacture” of the subject and the resignation of the educator to its task. Starting from the lacanian formulation of the logic of the discourses (Lacan, 1981, 1992) a reading of the pedagogical field in terms of the civilizatory function and its prolongation in which Lacan calls the University Discourse is atempted, to thence examine the developments of Violeta Núñez (2002, 2003) about the educative bond and the subject of the education, and her idea of the educative action as “introduction of a discompleteness order” The different elements founded who characterize of the process of the counseling through in venezuela http://ve.scielo.org/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S1011-22512007000200011&lng=pt&nrm=iso&tlng=pt El interés de este estudio es analizar los fundamentos conceptuales que han caracterizado el proceso de desarrollo de la Orientación en Venezuela desde sus inicios hasta la actualidad.
The interest of this study is to establish a differentiation of the conceptual elements of the process of the Counseling and how has inference in the Venezuelan counseling. In lapsing of the time, Counseling has had different connotations with the focuses and points of view of authorities in this field. The type of research used was of character historiography. The Historiography according to Galindo (1998), it is the study of the technical and social process in the way in that, in writing form, the past is reconstructed. Yes, certainly, the historiography only investigates on the way in that one makes history in the society, the history like science. The study historiography reconstructs talkative processes in a historical way - social. Through the analysis historiografic carried out, it concludes that Counseling in Venezuela has had different adjectival uses, beginning with the conception of diagnosis, help, until the integral conception What is investigated in mathematics education?: Perspective of an investigator in development http://ve.scielo.org/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S1011-22512007000200012&lng=pt&nrm=iso&tlng=pt El artículo que se presenta en este informe, sobre “¿Qué se investiga en Educación Matemática?: Perspectiva de un investigador en desarrollo”, tiene como propósito fundamental dar a conocer a la comunidad científica en general, los aportes, dados a la investigación en Educación Matemática de Venezuela, generados desde los diferentes ámbitos de actuación donde se ha producido el desarrollo investigativo de su autor.
