This  is  a  documentary  study  on  the  environmental  education  related  to the  Instituto  de  Mejoramiento  Profesional  del  Magisterio  (IMPM). The student’s processes of cognitive and research were studied, summarizing both processes in an explanatory way. An analytical-extensive reading was conducted to analyze the material of cooperative interaction, corresponding to  the  cognitive  material,  and  the  bibliography  of  the  research  part, corresponding to the environmental issue. The conclusion from this study says  that  the  environmental  education  is  moderately  discussed  in  the subjects that are part of the curriculum that helps of the IMPM’s student cognitive and research formation.
