GARCIA BARBARAN, Lizeth Isabel y VELEZ JIMENEZ, Dolores. PEDAGOGICAL AND MANAGERIAL LEADERSHIP IN RELATION TO THE ORGANISATIONAL CULTURE OF REGULAR BASIC EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS. Areté [online]. 2024, vol.10, n.20, pp.49-67. Epub 18-Oct-2024. ISSN 2443-4566. https://doi.org/10.55560/arete.2024.20.10.3.
The purpose of this research is to analyse the connection between pedagogical and managerial leadership in the institutional culture of regular basic education. To this end, a systematic study was carried out using scientific databases of recognised prestige. The review identified 18 articles that were subjected to rigorous inclusion and exclusion criteria prior to analysis. The results indicate that effective leadership in higher education requires a holistic approach that includes strategic planning, community engagement and critical thinking. It is also crucial to establish and maintain ethical standards and foster team development through benchmarking. A strong organisational culture is essential for educational institutions to create a constructive and positive atmosphere. The results further indicate a correlation between managerial and pedagogical leadership and the ethos of an organisation. Leaders must be committed to professional development and continuous learning to ensure academic quality.
