This research work, based on the difficulties diagnosed in the learning of conics, aims to assess the impact of a didactic strategy based on GeoGebra designed to contribute to the teaching-learning process of this topic in students of the Second Technical High School of the Guillermo Mensi Educational Unit. The methodology, framed within the socio-critical paradigm with a mixed approach and quasi-experimental design, consisted of characterizing the teaching-learning process, designing and implementing the didactic strategy, and assessing its impact, using techniques such as pretest, documentary analysis, surveys, and postest. The most relevant results evidenced a positive impact reflected in the level of achievement of conic performance criterion skills, increased motivation, generation of an interactive environment, and improvement of skills in the use of GeoGebra. It is concluded that the implementation of the GeoGebra-based didactic strategy significantly contributed to the teaching-learning process of conics, fulfilling the proposed objective.
