Esthetic dentistry is a multidisciplinary component of total facial esthetics. To create an optimal smile requires the integration of all diciplines in dentistry. The improvement in dental materials and the techniques of using these materials has allowed the dentist and additional means of artistic expression. This article reviews the treatment modalities to develop a total dentofacial harmony.
