 Considering the importance of the discipline of social psychology in Clinical Orthodontic, this paper shows the motivating factors behind a group of adolescent patients, who seek correction in dentofacial form in the University Central of Venezuela. The results indicated that 56% of the sample seek orthodontic care for dentofacial esthetic. Althaough other topics of motivation were studied.
