ABSTRACT In this investigation the clinical behavior of a glass ionomer cement modified with resin was analyzed glass to be used in Pedodontics. An evaluation was made following the most important properties such as: retention, anatomical shape, marginal integrity, color and anticariogenic properties. They were placed 101 restoration (class I and class II in deciduous teeth and conservatives class I in permanent molars). Two evaluations were made: 7 months and the last one at fourteen months. An analysis of multiple correspondence (M.C.A.) was used for statistic evaluations. It was the followed BY the criteria for evaluation proposed by Cvar and Ryge (1971)(1). The restorations were durables and reliables during the whole investigation, showing satisfactory results. was recommended for its use these types of cavities mentioned above.
