Our society has shown , a gradual increase in the demand for orthodontic services among older patients. Through out their lives, women tend to have lower bone mass than men, and they lose bone more rapidly with aging,  specially during menopause. The relation between osteoporosis and maxillary bone loss appears well established and changes on orthodontic tooth movement has been reported. This article presents a case with  post-menopausical osteoporosis and orthodontic treatment.
