Abstract

Pseudo Crouzon’s syndrome is a developmental malfomation characterized by: craniosynostosis, midface hypoplasia without prognathism, ocular manifestation, and other associated abnormalities, in which there is no familial occurrence. The prodromal charecteristic for the typical craniofacial apperence is a premature craniosynostosis of the coronal and sagital sutures. These craniofacial characteristics predispose the patient to maxillary hypoplasia with associated dentofacial anomalies. This is a case report of a sixteen year old girl with a Pseudo Crouzon’ syndrome patient. The aim of this case is to discuss the clinical, radiographic features and management of the problems, with a discussion of the orthodontic considerations that influenced the treatment plan.
