A review of the literature is done about how it has been working in farmacology field on the patient with differents temporomandibular disorders. More commonly drugs used in the treatment of temporomandibular disorders is superficially described, doing emphasis on their indications, pharmaceutical preparations, classification and collaterals effects which they can produce as adjunct in the treatment of these disorders.
