MORET, Yuli y GONZALEZ, José María. PARTIAL ANODONTIA RELATED TO DENTIGEROUS CYST AND TRAUMATIC CYST. REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE AND PRESENTATION OF A CASE.. Acta odontol. venez [online]. 2003, vol.41, n.3, pp.232-235. ISSN 0001-6365.
Abstract Partial anodontia is an abnormality of number characterized by the congenital absence of primary and permanent teeth. It has been designated by other names such as dental agenesia, oligodoncy, and hypodoncy. We present the case of a male child with this disease, bearing in mind that this is an isolate case with no other elements of syndromatic genetic pathology, and that it was also related to two other pathologies: Traumatic Cyst and Dentigerous Cyst. A combined treatment involving surgery and sampling for histopathological study, orthodoncy, and prosthesis was planned, calling for periodic evaluations.
