Abstract It is introduce a concept and practice of a new line of clinical reasoning named Evidence Base Dentistry that will advocate the use of rejection of a procedure on the basis of clinical criteria and explicit statistical that will be consistently and rigorously applied to the literature. It will provide clinicians with the data they need to improve patient outcomes
