New treatment modalities have expanded the choices available to the patients. Nevertheless, since the functional demands can vary from individual, many studies have established that shortened dental arches can meet necessities of a efficient dentition. This idea offers some significant advantages and may be considered a approach to reduce the need for complex restorative treatment in the posterior regions of the mouth.
