In 1998 were treated first children HIV (+) in the Faculty of Dentistry , as a need of dental attention , in 2000 we started educative and treatment program to children between 0 and 4 years old, targeted to parents and doctors. Objectives: Demonstrate the need to control and prevention the pathologies in HIV (+) children who assist to SAPEI/UCV. Stimulate parent participation to take care children dental heath this oriented to reduce curative treatment. Materials and methods: an instrument to recollect information was elaborated in 2 parts. A) an interview to the parents in order to collets information about dental hygiene methods, nutrition and novice habit B)and oral exam made by a pediatric dentist. Results: in 1998 all children were refered to SAPEI/UCV because of a large number of cavities. In 2000 the pediatricians started to make reference in order to prevent oral pathologies. Now a days 130 children: 30% have multiple cavities 40% under treatment and 30% are babies under control of oral pathologies. Conclusions: Pediatrics intervention in oral problem has made that the number of patients improved and stimulated parents to take care dental health of their children.
