ABSTRACT     The objective of the present article is to know the interrelation between the dental plaque microbiota and the etiology periodontal disease. Dental plaque function as a true microbial community; the interactions of the component species produce an ecological niches enabling the survival and growth of  proteolytic obligately anaerobic species and favours the establishment of the disease periodontal.
