ABSTRACT: Dentist and all the other health professional, are in day by contact with patients that high carry some infections disease very contagious, now days the diseases with higher incidence in the world are: diseases transmitted by Human Inmunodeficiency virus and Hepatitis B and C. Because of these patients, we have been forced to modify certain aspects of our treatments and improve all our knowledge about infection control and biosafety. Because of that, we feel obligated of give away some general information about the risk that involves personnel attention to these patients. That is why the objective to this paper is to determine all the steps we have to follow when we suffer of and occupational exposure while treating a patient carrying the Human Inmunodeficiency Virus or Hepatitis B or C on Dental Office.
