Nowadays, high technology equipments are used not only in everyday life, but in specific areas such as the field of dentistry. As these equipments manipulate the information in a digital format, the dental images in digital format are restored correctly by the computer without any possible mistake. In the last years has seen a significant increase in the number of digital imaging technologies such as computers, digital still cameras, scanners, intraoral cameras and digital X-Ray systems. They have proven to be invaluable resources to the dentist for diagnosis, treatment planning, and case presentation. The use of these equipments in dentistry teaching gives the students the opportunity to participate in a significant learning activity. In the field of dental researching, it is possible to exchange professional opinions about a particular case, and learn or make the new dental techniques known. Moreover, in the dental service the digital dental images make the diagnosis easier and faster by which the relationship between the patient and the dentist becomes better.
