Abstract: It is presented the clinic case of a female,13 year old patient with alergic records, who presented inmediate labial and cutaneous perioral alergic reaction after making dental impressions with alginate. There were done cutaneous patch tests, scarification cutaneous tests and blood frotis , obtaining as a result the confirmation of a contact dermatitis or type IV hipersensitivity reaction which was treated with local corticosteroids obtaining satisfactory results
