In the dental practice, stress, strain, inadequate postures and segmental (localized) vibration contribute to the apparition of musculoskeletal disorders in these personnel. These disorders can differ in severity degree from periodic slight symptoms to severe chronic debility conditions. In the presence of this situation it is necessary that dental personnel to know the risk factors, effects and method of protection and prevention.
