In Granma, skin cancer ( except melanoma) has get the first place in frecuence in men, ans the second  place in woman.In 2003 it represented 32,8% of all diagnosed maligment tumors with a rate of 27,65 per 100.000 inhabitants. Most of the patients suffring from the disease are white, being basal  cells carcinoma the main malignant skin tumor (84,8%) ,with a higer incidence than epidermoid carcinoma (15,1% ).Female sex was the most affected (51,9 % ). Housewives prevailed in the study (42,4 % ).Yara municipality represents the highest average rate in 1999. In 2003 it was 77,92 % with a risk of 1.2
