Resumen

GONCALVES MOTA, Eduardo; CARRILLO COTTO, Ricardo; SILVA OSHIMA, Hugo Mitsuo  y  MAYUMI HIRAKATA, Luciana. Influencia del tratamiento superficial en la resistencia de unión de una cerámica prensada a un cemento con base de resina. Acta odontol. venez [online]. 2007, vol.45, n.2, pp.213-216. ISSN 0001-6365.

This study evaluates influences of different methods of superficial treatment of Cergogold® ceramics (Degussa, Richmond, BC, Canada) en the traction resistance to a cement with resin base. Fourteen disc of pressed ceramics was confectioned and enclosed in acrylic auto polymerized resin. four different groups (n=10) was classify according with the treatment: Group I: control (silane/without conditioning), Group II: micro abrasion with aluminum oxide (50 (m), Group III: fluorhidric acid at 10% and Group IV: combination of fluorhidric acid and micro abrasion. the results show different significant between groups: Group I (control) - x=3,89 MPa; Group II - x=7,8 MPa; Group III - x=5,6 MPa y Group IV - x=7,67 MPa, the ANOVA/Tukey (p< 0,05).test was used.  The control group shows minor measured, followed the group treated with fluorhídric acid and with more joint resistance, the micro abrasion and combination groups. Concludes that all superficial treatments effectuates with Cergogold® ceramics increased there joint resistance to traction on cement with resin base, that could to have benefit clinical implications.

Palabras clave : pressed ceramics; resistance of union there traction; cement with resin base.
