ABSTRACT. With the evolution of Oral Microbiology, over 400 bacteria species have been isolated from samples of pulpar infections, 30% of them are difficult-culture or non-culture species. Using Molecular Biology technology, the the mostly reported phylotypes have suffered modifications, related to the date obtained by the new techniques; now is possible the access to genotypic characters and information wich remained hidden from traditional isolation and identification protocol in Laboratories. The aim of this review was the actualization of the bacterias involved in Endodontic Infections and general Odontology
