Abstract

The knowledge of the root canals anatomical normality and its variation is essential for the professionals that wish to achieve the success during the endodontic therapy. Among these morphologic variabilities literature mentions the presence of three root canals in maxillary first premolars. Considering the difficulties involved during the treatment of these teeth, the professional should have the ability to use technological resources just to get a more efficient therapy. In our article, we described an endodontic treatment performed in a first premolar with three roots and three canals, using a helpful Apex Locator and NiTi rotary system to provide the shape and cleaning of these canals.
