Abstract

Hemangiomas blooms are benign, vascular channels that can appear at birth or during early childhood, being one of the most frequent injuries to his mouth. They are flat or high coloring of red or blue, according to the vascular space and the size of vases. Objective: Determine the use of Sclerotherapy in the treatment of Hemangiomas of the soft tissues of the oral cavity in a patient group children and adolescents from consulting Stomatológic Pediatric. Materials and Methods: A study of type descriptive exploratory, experimental and longitudinal, 20 children and adolescents, from 1 to 16 years of service Stomatológic Pediatric Central University School of Dentistry Venezuela, was conducted vitropresión to injury, used a sheet of data collection, informed consent, topical anesthetics, infiltration to 3%, hypodermic syringe, distilled water, sclerosing agent (polidocanol to 3%), took place during infiltrations intralessionable 4, 8 and 12 weeks to lesions. Resulted: Of 20 patients, 18 (90%) were faded injury, 65% corresponded to the female gender, the cheeks (31.8%), was the most affected area, the ethnicity of the Creoles with 80% and the most frequent age was between 9 and 12 years (35%), covering the demonstrations were growing size of tissues nearby, burning, heaviness Conclusions: sclerosing therapy with polidocanol to 3%, proved an excellent medicine the eradication of injuries in 90 % of the cases, without complication
