Puccinia hemerocallidis, the daylily rust is recorded for first time for Colonia Tovar, Aragua-Venezuela. The fungus is described. Observations on his symptomatology, life cycle, sporic stages, ecology and geographical distribution are done. In the studied collection the teleomorphic and uredial anamorphic stages were detected.
