The rights of the hospitalized children, as well as the development and defense of these rights inside the hospital institutions, are an area of growing interest for people that are devoted to the attention of the small patients hospitalized in favor of their quality of life. This article is the result of a documental revision, which is centered fundamentally in examining the initiatives and international and national documents as for the resolution of proposals that they aid the rights of the sick children that require hospitalization. The main intention of this revision is to get the attention on some important aspects of the defense of the rights of the childhood, in an intent of motivating doctors, sanitary personnel and investigators to carry out studies whose results can contribute to the development of the initiatives in favor of the effective recognition of the rights of the hospitalized children that is presented like a necessity to keep in mind and that it urges to be developed.
