Introduction: The level of prevention of familiar violence of the free subject school for parents is carried out in the Service of Growth and Development. Objective: To make a socioeducative intervention with simulations, diaporames and mental maps that facilitate self-diagnosis of mistreat on women and children and promote familiar values. Methods:A research in the critic-reflective paradigm and investigation action, in the Free Subject school for parents of Zulia’s University, “Hospital General del Sur de Maracaibo”, participating 500 parents, 60 medicine students and 14 resident doctors of pediatrics postgraduate, two university professors, four nurses, a social worker and a psychologist with the accomplishment of educative simulations, diaporames and mental maps, based on real situations of familiar violence and applying the Program of Valuable Families. Results: The parents recognized in 80% to use physical, verbal and psychological violence as a way to solve familiar conflicts, child’s violence by omission in 30%, the strategies fortified the functionality and familiar values of respect, responsibility, spirituality and selfesteem of women and children, disappearing 95% of violence by omission of children and improving school performance in 97%. Conclusions: the growth and development clinic is ideal for increasing parents’ education using strategies like the simulation, diaporamas and mental maps to modify the reality of violence through the promotion of familiar harmony.
