Abstract

Lace two main new technologies of video endoscopic in the market are: Image of narrow band denominated NBI and Image denominated multiband MBI. In order to be able to understand these technologies, it is necessary to include/understand two physical events as they are the phantom of visible light caught by the human eye and as the color in the objects takes place. Single it is possible to be heightened the details of the surface of weaves as they are the glasses (microvasculatura) and of the structure (microsurface) with certain rank or wavelength of wavelength. Both techniques persecute this objective in the case of NBI developed by Olympus with optical filter previous to the xenon lamp, emits two ranks of wavelength that are blue of 415nm and green 540nm that is two ranks peaky of pick up by the hemoglobina and in case of MBI developed by Fujinon that it consists of a software that the image through a method of spectral estimation processes, in the video processor. Advantages both technologies are available and are easy to use, disadvantages increase the time of the procedures require curve of learning, interobservant variability.
