SUMMARY: Intrauterine blood collection, called hematometrium, is not very infrequently seen. However, hematocervix is a true curiosity, less than ten reported cases in the available references. This clinical note in a case report of hematocervix occurrying in a postmenopausal woman who was irregularly using hormonal replacement therapy, and had previously been treated with uterine cervix electrocoagulation.
