The case of a term neonate, product of gestation complicated with dengue is reported. At 72 hours of life presented signs and symptoms of complicated sepsis with bleeding. Vertical transmission of the illness for specific IgM for positive dengue was confirmed. Neonate evolved satisfactorily. Serological type was not isolated
