SUMMARY: We present the case of a 19 old years patient, gravida III, para I, cesarean I, with twin pregnancy of 28 weeks, who was admitted to the Obstetric Department of the University Hospital of Maracaibo, Maternity "Dr. Armando Castillo Plaza", presenting paraplegia and crural hypoalgesia, patellar hyperreflexia, clonus sustained bilateral and positive bilateral Babinski, with tumor in thoracic dorsal region to the level of T3, that increased in size proportionally as gestation advanced. The pregnancy ended at 34 weeks by cesarean section. Two alive preterm newborns in good conditions were obtained. The magnetic nuclear resonance revealed cavernous intramedullar-extradural hemangioma. The evolution of tumor and clinical manifestations explained for the increase of sanguineous volume, own of the pregnancy and a phenomenon of vascular robbery for the tumor
