Hepatic transplantation is an effective model of treatment for patients with terminal hepatic failure and represents an improvement for a longtime quality of life. We present a case of a 21 years old woman who got pregnant after orthotopic hepatic transplantation. She had preterm labor threat and intrauterine growth restriction. There were no signs of rejection neither hepatic failure. A cesarean section was performed at 38 weeks of gestation, obtaining a female newborn. There were no puerperal complications. We present a review of the current literature regarding hepatic transplantation and pregnancy.
