This case shows a boy 3 years, 4 month old with antenatal diagnosis of congenital mega colon. Hospitalized for 2 weeks, studies showed no intestinal pathology, but he has a minor thalassemia. During his 3 years of age he had several crises of anemia and rectal bleeding and needed 4 hospitalizations due to low hemoglobin level of 5 gr/L. During his last hospitalitation, the abdomen was distented and a mass was palpable in the right paraumbilical area, after practicing roentgenografhic studies, required laparatomy that showed Intestinal duplication at caecun level. Ileocecal resection was performed, followed by end to end, ileo-colon anastomosis. Meckel diverticulum neither was nor present. The patient remains hospitalized for 15 days with good evolution.
