A case of actinomycotic tuboovarian abscess is described in a twenty nine years-old patient who consulted for presenting lower hemiabdomen pain since three months, with history of intrauterine device use for 7 years. Gynecological laparotomy showed a cyst in left adnexa. In right side, a big abscess was observed aside of pelvic organs. Pathological analysis showed an actinomycotic tuboovarian abscess with yellow granules. Microbiological analysis of lesions and intrauterine device were positive for Actinomyces.
