A case of a partial molar pregnancy with coexistent fetus in a 38 years old patient with 24 weeks gestation is presented. The fetus had intrauterine growth retardation. The placenta had two zones, one with normal corionic villi and other with molar vesicules. In the histophathologic description, the molar vesicules showed: hydropic degeneration, capilar absence, trophoblastic invasion of stroma, irregular borders and mild trophoblastic hyperplasia. In the partial mole is characteristic the hydropic villi degeneration and the mild trophoblastic hyperplasia.
Palabras clave : Partial hydatiform mole; Trophoblastic disease.
