Seven newborns that presented/displayed hepatic abscesses (solitary or multiple) are described. Abdominal ecosonograma, provided the diagnosis and documented the clinical evolution of the patients; that with the provision of antibiotic-therapy of broad-spectrum, without drainage, nor surgical procedures, presented satisfactory clinical evolution.
