Objective: To describe the spontaneous evolution of low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions in endocervix, under control by cytology, colposcopy and biopsia. Methods: There were 25 patients with diagnosis of low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions in endocervix, in were evaluated with cytology and colposcopy of ectocervix and endocervix every 4 months and we made an endocervical sampling at the end of the first year. The evolution was registered. Setting: Servicio de Ginecología de la Maternidad "Concepcion Palacios" Results: We found 8 % of persistence, 92 % of spontaneous regression, and there was no case of progression. Conclusion: Endocervical low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions have a high frequency of spontaneous regression. We recommended the preservative treatment and to prolong the control of the negative cases to discard false negatives.
